I really enjoyed my stay at this B&B. It was a lovely house and the room is nice and airy. There is a nice private bathroom next to the room. I have stayed in many B&B's in London but this was the best. The breakfast was fantastic and owners's hospitality was super. The house is lovely. I highly recommend this B&B. Alexis - November 2004

This family bed and breakfast home in West Hampsted offers a lovely twin room overlooking the garden with an adjacent private bathroom for your exclusive use. The accommodation is all arranged on the top floor of the home which is separate to rest of house for your privacy. The room is bright and airy and is furnished with antique furniture. A third bed (futon bed) can be added upon request.  It has to go at the end two beds shown in the picture which does make the room space quite small but usable. The adjacent private bathroom is finished with marble and has a washbasin, bath and bidet.

Location : Nearest tubes: West Hampstead & Kilburn (Zone 2 - Jubilee line), both stations are within a 10 minute walk.

The home is in a quiet residential street and offers easy access to West End, motorways and railway stations. West Hampstead is a cosmopolitan area with many restaurants and bars yet retains a friendly neighborhood atmosphere. There is direct and quick access to most of London's tourist attractions. The local tube is on the Jubilee line tube that runs direct to Bond Street and Oxford Street, with London's newest hi-tech tube extension on to Westminster, South Bank and Waterloo. The home is convenient for Eurostar and airports. Buses direct to West End and Theatre district and Covent Garden. The overland train is just a 20 minute journey to Kew Gardens, Richmond and Twickenham.

The home is also within walking distance of Hampstead Heath (below). The Heath is a great semi-natural park, saved from urbanisation by a famous victory in the nineteenth century. It has woods, ponds, walks and fine views over London. Two of the ponds are used for outdoor swimming.

A view from Hampstead Heath into of the heart of London itself, as seen from Parliament Hill, one of the highest points of Hampstead Heath. The tall buildings to the left are Canary Wharf. Then the cluster in the centre is the financial quarter of the City, round the NatWest tower. Then of the two lower buildings to the right, the lower one is St Paul's Cathedral - still a great and proud landmark.

We had a lovely time in this B&B and it's hard to imagine something to improve a service that was so good. We returned to Brazil after living 6 months in London. When we go back to visit, this B&B will be in our minds... Good luck! Alessandra & Leonardo.
