Tower Hill station (just across Tower Bridge, a few minutes walk) offer the District and Circle tube lines as well as the Docklands Light Railway for the EXCEL centre. Buses will take you to Liverpool Street and Shoreditch (for Stansted airport) and also east towards Rotherhithe and Greenwich. Alternatively, a 15-minute walk will take you into the heart of the City of London itself, no need to take a tube! There are pubs, restaurants and retailers all within a very short walk, and just a little further are the many attractions and amenities that Shad Thames and Butler's Wharf have to offer, including riverside bars and restaurants.
