This is a family run and owned bed and breakfast in a traditional Lakeland slate terrace house built in 1898. The house which has recently been refurbished and modernised, has many of the original features but also has a contemporary feel, with original works of art decorating the walls. Ideally situated in a quiet residential area between the villages of Windermere and Bowness, in the English Lake District. It is only a short 5 minute walk to the many shops, pubs and restaurants which both villages offer, and a 10 minute walk to Lake Windermere. If you are coming to the Lakes by public transport the National Express coaches drop off in Windermere, next to the rail station. Taxis are available for the short drive to the B&B.
