This family run bed and breakfast is located 5 miles from Stansted airport and 2 miles from the main line rail link to London and Cambridge. The B&B was built in the 1930's originally as a working farm situated in the heart of the Essex countryside. There are beautiful views of surrounding countryside. All of the guest rooms newly refurbished. They have ground floor rooms with wheelchair access if required. Your hosts also offer an internet service, fax and photocopying. This is available upon request at a small charge. Room rates are inclusive of a transfers to the airport from 04:15 through to 09:00 and then 16:00 through to 22:30. Check in times are from 16:00 through to 22:30 to tie in with the shuttle service, however they can arrange late check in after 22:30 but guests have to then take a taxi to the B&B (costing around £15 from the airport. Check out is at 10.00 again unless by prior arrangement. Long term parking is available and they have a dedicated car park area. Overnight parking on the night of your stay is free. If you need an evening meal the owners recommend eating at a local pub which is just minutes away and the food is superb. Your hosts can book a table for once you confirm a stay with them. An alternative to this pub is a short taxi ride to the town of Bishop's Stortford which has many bars and restaurants.
