This family run bed and breakfast is located 5 miles from Stansted airport and 2 miles from the main line rail link to London and Cambridge. The B&B was built in the 1930's originally as a working farm situated in the heart of the Essex countryside. There are beautiful views of surrounding countryside. All of the guest rooms newly refurbished. They have ground floor rooms with wheelchair access if required. Your hosts also offer an internet service, fax and photocopying. This is available upon request at a small charge.

Transfers : The B&B owners no longer collect guests from the airport but can collect you from Bishop's Stortford train station which is one stop from Stansted airport. This is a free service and is available at any time from 16:00 through to 22:30. Note check in is normally only from 16.00 but guests can make arrangements for early or late check in but need to make their own way to the B&B by local taxi.

In the morning the owners offer free return transfers to the airport are running from 04:15 through to 09:00. They do not operate any transfers between 09:00 and 16:00.

Long term parking is available and they have a dedicated car park area. Overnight parking on the night of your stay is free. If you need an evening meal the owners recommend eating at a local pub which is just minutes away and the food is superb. Your hosts can book a table for once you confirm a stay with them. An alternative to this pub is a short taxi ride to the town of Bishop's Stortford which has many bars and restaurants.
Accommodation
This B&B has 3 double rooms and 4 twin rooms. All rooms have ensuite or private bathroom facilities and each room has remote control colour tv, tea/coffee facilities, towels, hairdryers, alarm clock, bathrobes and so on. All rooms are non smoking. Check in from 4.00 p.m. check out by 9.30 a.m. For families a travel cot is available upon request.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 7.30am until 9.00am, prior to this a take away breakfast is provided or you can have an early starter tray in your room. Your hosts offer various breakfast options including cereals, fruit juices, continental and a range of danish pastries. Full English breakfast is available upon request, at extra charge.
Local Attractions
Stansted Airport is nearby and so is Bishops Stortford, an Ancient market town with a wealth of historical interests, and good shops. Easy access to main line railway station, connecting to London, Liverpool Street and Cambridge. The B&B also has good access to :

Audley End House and Gardens.
Cambridge.
Hatfield Forest.
Stansted Mountflitchet castle.
Thaxted Church.
