This B&B is a Grade II listed 17th century early Georgian farmhouse, situated in a small village called Little Hallingbury on the Herts & Essex Borders. The home was a working farm until the 1970s. It is now a family run Bed & Breakfast. Your hosts now keep animals on the farm for pleasure, you can give Ally & Tiggy, their horses a carrot! The open log fire on cold days all adds to the relaxed atmosphere. On warmer days relax in the spacious gardens and enjoy a tranquil setting. Experience the local natural beauty. There are many beautiful country walks to enjoy along canal, river & forest. Close by is Bishops Stortford, an Ancient market town with a wealth of historical interests, and good shops. There is also easy access to main line railway station, connecting to London, Liverpool Street and Cambridge. Long term parking is also available on request. The home is just 10-15 minutes from Stansted airport at a distance of about 4 miles.

Your hosts offer FREE transfers to and from Stansted Airport/Station. Check in is from 4pm and transfers from the airport to the B&B are from 4pm until 10pm. Check out is by 10am and transfers back to the airport are from 4am to 10am and unless by special arrangement (mention at time of enquiry if you need other times). Please note due to the new car child seat laws they cannot offer transfers to children under the age of 12. If you leave your car for long term parking you will need to take a taxi back from the airport (approx £16), there are no return transfers with long term parking. Parking is from £2.00 per day with accommodation.

All four of the luxurious and spacious guest rooms have comfortable beds, beautiful linen and fresh towels.The three of the rooms share one large bathroom with a large roll top bath and shower room (a really nice huge bathroom). The forth room is a double room with a large ensuite shower. All rooms also have tea & coffee making facilities, biscuits, LCD colour television with 40 channels, a small fridge, alarm clock radio & hairdryers. The home is a non smoking house but guests can smoke outside in gardens.

A double room with a double bed and room for an additional single bed making this room a triple if required.
