This Bed and breakfast offers comfortable, friendly and affordable accommodation in Carrbridge, near Aviemore and the Cairngorms, at the heart of Scotland's beautiful Strathspey (Speyside) and Highland country. The B&B is located in a beautiful, traditional, Scottish Highland village, Carrbridge . (Carr Bridge - Drochaid Charra [gaelic] - The Stone Bridge). Five minutes off the A9, the main artery through Scotland's Highlands. Two minutes from the Carrbridge Train Station on the Edinburgh - Inverness route. Easy access from Edinburgh and Glasgow to the South and from Inverness to the North. Ten minutes from Aviemore, the Cairngorm and Monadhliath mountains.
All the year round, outdoor activities associated with the Scottish Highlands at our doorstep - hiking, hill walking, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, mountaineering, rock climbing, ice climbing, pony trekking, mountain biking, wind surfing, watersports, white water sports, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, bird watching and of course golf!
Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens and deck overlooking the River Dulnain!
The Accommodation
When you arrive at the bed and breakfast your hosts will greet you, show you to your room and provide tea or coffee and biscuits in their Day Room (below) to help you wind down after the day's travels and adventures. The B&B offers three rooms available for a total of six guests; the Yellow room is a king-size with ensuite facilities, the Green Room is a double with ensuite facilities and the Blue Room is a twin room with its own private facilities across the hall. All rooms have televisions and tea and coffee making facilities. Full details and photos of each room are listed further below.
The DayRoom is available for your use throughout your stay—relax, watch TV, read or plan a busy day of adventure ahead. Information on things to do is available at www.carrbridge.com, www.aviemore.org and at www.strathspey.com.
The Guest rooms
The Yellow room
Of the three rooms the Yellow Room (ensuite) with double bed is the largest and grandest. With a view onto our garden you can hear the water gurgling in the pond below. Rates are £48 per room per night or £28-00 for single occupancy.
The Green Room
An extremely comfortable double room (ensuite) within earshot of the soothing sounds of the River Dulnain just outside the window.

The Blue Room
A comfortable and roomy twin room (private bathroom facilities across the hall) overlooking the garden pond and facing onto the Ellan wood, where you can go for a run in the morning or an evening stroll. Rates are £42-00 per room per night or £28-00 for single occupancy.
The Dining Room
With views out to the garden and garden pond, so you can watch the birds and red squirrels feeding at our bird feeders in the morning sun. Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. and consists of fresh melon and fruit, a bowl of porridge or cold cereal, followed by a traditional cooked scottish breakfast including potato scones. Choice of tea or coffee.

If you are driving, please take care on Highland roads, they are only as dangerous as the people driving on them !
