Penny's Liverpool Bed and Breakfast

Situated in a beautiful and quiet Victorian park overlooking the Mersey River.

Penny offers a warm welcome to her home in Liverpool. Situated in a conservation area, the B&B is in a prime location, convenient for all areas and also very safe. The House is a large Victorian semidetached home and has a lovely atmosphere with fine and stylish decoration. Penny has a private practice at the top of the house as she is a Professional Kinesiologist (complementary medicine practitioner) and Norman (her husband) is a consultant Biochemist at the Liverpool Royal Hospital. Both are known for their welcoming manner and happy to help guests with any information about the area. There is parking for 2 cars in front of the house.

The home is well served by public transport. The Merseyrail trainline is situated in the road and within 5 minutes walk. The journey to the centre of Liverpool is only 10 minutes by train and the line connects to all of Merseyside.
The local bus stop is a 7 minute walk (also to the local shops) and Speke Airport is a further 15 minutes away.
The local bus also goes to city centre. Bicycles are available for use by guests and there is a lovely 30 minute
waterside ride to the Albert Dock, with Tate Art Gallery and the Beatles Museum. The Albert Dock can be
reached by public transport in 10 minutes plus a 10 minute walk or it takes about 1 hour to walk the whole route in total. Liverpool University is not far from the home, it can be reached by merseyrail, 10 minutes from the local station to the central station and then about 10 -15 minute walk slightly uphill.

The Accommodation

The home has two large bedrooms for guests that share the use of a bathroom. The bathroom is spacious and has a shower, bath and bidet (photo below). The first bedroom at the back of the house is in a quiet location viewing the garden and it can be either a twin or double room and contains a wash hand basin. The second bedroom (pictured below) is at the front of the house and has a double bed. There is also a small room available for 1 child (£10 per night) or a child's bed may also be added to the guest rooms.

For Breakfast Penny serves organic* continental breakfast with fresh fruit and juice, toast, bread, croissant and a selection of drinks including fresh coffee. There are also alternative options for special food needs. Any other meals are by arrangement only. Facilities for guests to help themselves to refreshments and supper can be arranged if needed.
