The accommodation on this privately owned beach offers a quiet, relaxing and convenient base from which to explore Newquay and the surrounding area. The beach is a short walk from Newquay town centre, the picturesque harbour and the beautiful Cornish Coast Path, which follows the cliffs above the beach area.

There are two separate units available, the beach cottage and chalet, both of which provide totally unique self catering accommodation. Situated right on the beach, they boast fantastic views unrivaled anywhere in the UK. They are literally footsteps from the surf and in certain conditions the tide reaches almost to the boundary wall! Regardless of the weather, you will be perfectly placed for a relaxing romantic getaway, family holiday or activity break.

Each unit sleeps six guests and both are stylishly decorated and fully equipped with modern appliances and comfortable furniture. The cottage has a small front verandah overlooking the beach and a small courtyard to the rear of the property whilst the chalet is equipped with an outside drying area.


Included in the cost of your holiday is a 6 day parking permit, baggage carry, daily bed making and cleaning. Other services available include laundry and grocery service plus child and dog sitting.

The Beach

The beach is situated in a privately-owned cove on the outskirts of Newquay and is home to an adventure centre, which offers a variety of outdoor education courses and adrenaline activities for children and adults of all ages and abilities. The beautiful golden sands are sheltered by dramatic 200ft cliffs, providing an idyllic natural environment in which to learn new skills or simply sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere.

During the winter months and on summer evenings you will have the beach almost to yourself, with only other guests and restaurant diners to share the sunset with.

Beach Facilities:

Nestling in a sheltered cove and situated at the bottom of 133 steps, this is one of the area’s finest tourist beaches and Newquay’s best kept secret. The stunning natural scenery is enhanced by sympathetically designed, first-class amenities for your convenience and enjoyment.

The beach also hosts a series of annual events which attract visitors from around the world, including the Fat Face Night Surf competition, RFU Beach Rugby Tournament, music and charity events. The beach is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) to provide outdoor activities for both children and adults so you’ll have a range of entertaining options right on your doorstep!

The Beach Cottage accommodation comprises of :

The beach cottage is a timber bungalow clad inside and out. Traditionally decorated in pale beach theme colours with comfortable furnishings. Recently renovated, the cottage is equipped with modern appliances and gas central heating. All floors are natural polished wood. Outside to the front of the cottage there is a small verandah ideal for BBQs, sunbathing or simply sitting out and watching the sun set in the bay. The rear of the property has a small private courtyard. The cottage sleeps 6 persons comfortably.


Kitchen - Country style kitchen and dining room with wooden units and a range of modern appliances. Tea towels are supplied. Milk, sugar, tea and coffee is supplied for the day of your arrival. Additional groceries can be ordered when booking with a small delivery charge of £5.50.


Bathroom - Modern bathroom including bath.


Bedroom One - Large double bedroom with French doors leading onto verandah. Although the bedroom is simply furnished, the view from your bed will ensure that it is probably one of the most memorable that you will ever have!


Bedroom Two -A family room comprising of 2 bunk bed sets.


Lounge - A beautifully bright room with French doors leading onto the verandah. Decorated in pale colours and furnished with large comfortable sofas and pine furniture, a delight at any time of year. Large log burner. Colour TV.

Please note that bed linen and cleaning equipment is provided however we do not supply towels.

The cottage will sleep six guests comfortably. Dogs are very welcome in the cottage although access to the beach is restricted during May – September. We ask that all guests refrain from smoking inside the cottage.

Under some circumstances we reserve the right to request a security deposit.

Bedroom One - A small double bedroom with sea view. One double bed, wardrobe and bedside cabinet.
Bedroom Two -One bunk bed and bedside cabinet
Bedroom Three - One bunk bed and bedside cabinet
Lounge/Diner - Dining table and chairs. Colour TV. Sea and beach view. Comfortable seating.
