A family run bed and breakfast in East Sussex, set in a charming Georgian house that was once the old Vicarage. The B&B is surrounded by stunning countryside, apple orchards with many public footpaths, and a nature conservation wood within easy walking distance from the house. Nearby the Queen's Head is a popular, dog friendly pub just three minutes walk away, with outside tables and spectacular views of the Brede Valley, the sea, and Rye. Local attractions include the beautiful walks in the
heart of 1066 Country. The home is near to the historic Cinque Ports of Rye (5 miles), Winchelsea (2 miles) and Hastings Old Town (7 miles) and some fantastic beaches at Camber Sands, Winchelsea and Pett. There is ample parking space in the secure driveway. The two guest bedrooms are at the top of the house on the second 2nd floor and have delightful views over the garden and towards the Norman church; both rooms have double beds with ensuite Bathrooms. Wireless broadband internet is available for guests use if required. Please note in residence are Bertie and Dennis our two cats and our Pointer Max. If you want to bring your pet let us know and we will explain the house rules. Your hosts are passionate about hospitality and food in general. They provide seasonal local produce in particular and continue to source as much as they can locally and hope that the breakfast menu reflects this enthusiasm.


Accommodation
The two ensuite bedrooms are at the top of the house with delightful views over the garden and towards the church, both have double beds. The rooms have - Hair Dryer - Internet Access - Iron - Alarm Clock, Non Smoking Rooms - Private Parking - Tea/Coffee making facilities - TV/DVD - Beach Towels available. Guests are welcome to relax in the gardens where there are several lovely areas with tables and chairs-Weather permitting.

Your hosts source as much as they can locally; from the Rye Farmers Market, nearby farm shop and Fraysland dairy. The bacon and black pudding come from prize winning Winchelsea butcher Jamie Wickens. Exceptional organic sourdough and rye breads are supplied to us by Judge's bakery in Hastings, now owned by the creators of Green and Black chocolate.
