hotel sleeps a maximum of twenty two guests in eleven guest bedrooms
and is large enough to be grand, and, small enough for you to receive
the personal attention that the best country house hotels in Britain
are famous for.

The region has some of
the most beautiful countryside in Britain - awesome mountains, delightful
beaches and historic castles. But if you simply want a peaceful relaxing
break and your preference is to enjoy the house then you couldn't choose
a better destination. You can wander in the three and a half acres of
landscaped gardens, browse through books and newspapers, stroll to the
waterfalls or the gold mine and return for lunch or tea and never start
your car until its time to go home. The home is also near to the following
places of interest :
Portmeirion - 30 minutes
Harlech 30 minutes
Snowdon 1-11/4 hours
Cadair Idris 15 minutes
Dolgellau 5 minutes
Barmouth (on the coast) 20 minutes. Barmouth is also the nearest train station.

The house has 9 guest bedrooms which are named after
local Welsh rivers. There are 4 superior ensuite rooms, 5 standard
ensuite rooms (full details with rate below) . Each bedroom is unique
and features:
- Lovely views of the grounds
- Direct dial telephone
- Fluffy towels and robes and essential-oil
toiletries
- Tea and coffee facilities with a range
of excellent teas, chocolate and biscuits. Fresh milk is available.

- Television [no terrestrial TV, 3-5 Sky

Please Note: Your hosts always add a bowl of fruit
and some chocolate to welcome guests to the superior rooms. If required,
guests may order an arrangement of fresh flowers to be added for their
arrival.

Everyone who comes to stay is drawn to the windows in the conservatory
to look at the view. Located beyond the restaurant at upper terrace
level is the conservatory and cocktail bar. On warm days the doors of
this lovely room are thrown open so visitors can stroll out onto the
grassy terraces and wander about the gardens with their drinks. It's
the place where everyone assembles before dinner for aperitif and to
study the menu and wine list. It's good for a snack lunch or afternoon
tea and if you have reserved the Hall for a party you might even enjoy
a turn on the small inset dance floor.
