This family run B&B, which was previously a public house, was built in 1898 and has been sympathetically restored and extended to create a spacious family home with countryside views and ample parking. Situated in Lockerley, near Romsey, it is conveniently positioned for the historic cities of Salisbury and Winchester and a short distance from Southampton and The New Forest. The llocation makes it ideally suited for rambling, fishing, golfing, sightseeing and horse riding.
Accommodation consists
of 2 individually appointed double bedrooms.
The first double room has an ensuite bathroom comprising a genuine Victorian
bath, basin and toilet complemented by a separate modern high power electric
shower and cubicle. The bedroom is light and airy and has an original
French bed, pine wardrobe and pine bedside cupboards.
The second double room has a private bathroom suite with shower over
the bath. There is an original Edwardian bed and chest of drawers.
Both rooms have a colour televisions. Open fires are available in the
dining room and guest lounge providing a cosy atmosphere in the winter
months. There is a choice of breakfast which can be either continental
or full English. Your hosts assure a warm welcome and a good standard
of service and accommodation.
