Sandy and Colin assured a warm welcome at their spacious Victorian house in Maidenhead, Berkshire, England. Our large and comfortable rooms attract many return visitors from England and throughout the world. A peaceful bed and breakfast accommodation a few minutes walk from the River Thames, and yet just half an hour by car from London's Heathrow airport and around half an hour by train from Central London. Windsor Castle and Legoland are only 15 minutes drive and Oxford and the Cotswolds are nearby, just a 45 minutes drive. We are also ideally situated to visit Henley-on-Thames, Wentworth golf course, Ascot, Hampton Court and Thorpe Park and many more places of interest. The home is just Seven minutes walk to Boulter's Lock, the most famous lock on the River Thames, and several Thames-side restaurants. We are also within walking distance of Maidenhead town centre for more restaurants and pubs.

The B&B, dating from late 14th or early 15th century, is situated in South Eastern Kent only 10 minutes away from the Channel Tunnel terminal and the Folkestone docks. This makes the B&B the ideal stop off point for Euro travelers. The House overlooks the Romney Marsh and the Channel and on a clear day France is clearly visible. The home has ample secure off road parking for guests with cars. Public transport in the area is very restricted so a car is almost essential unless guests wish to rely on taxis. Our rates are inclusive of a full English breakfast which is available until 9.30 a.m. We do not provide evening meals or lunches but there is a wide choice of restaurants and pubs in the vicinity.
