| Built in 1888 for the retired clergy of nearby
St. Marys Church, this fine example of Victorian architecture has more recently
been stylishly converted to the hotel. The design and fittings are
now more contemporary but certainly the charm, elegance and features of
Victorian design have been retained. David, your host, offers a warm welcome
at the hotel where you will experience something refreshingly different
from the traditional seaside guesthouse culture. Following regular
inspections, the hotel is proud to have been awarded a 3 diamond
classification by all 3 of recognizedUK tourism authorities (AA,
RAC, & ETC). |
| The hotel has a total of 11 rooms
of varying types and even has a four poster bedroom. All rooms are ensuite
and non smoking. |
| The hotel is in an excellent location
on the fringe of the busy City Centre yet no more than 10 minutes walk will
take you to: The Brighton Royal Pavilion Palace, The Beach Terraces,
Esplanade, and sea front, The Palace Pier, The Theatre
Royal, Dome Theatre, Komedia, & Gardner Arts Centre,
The famous 'Lanes' and 'North Lanes' shopping areas, Restaurants,
Pubs, Clubs too numerous to mention and University
complexes. |

The Lounge |
| Relax in the cosy lounge stuffed full of
Brighton scenes and memorabilia. Have a drink by the open fire and
relax after a days sightseeing. Take breakfast at your own leisurely pace
in our bright and fresh dining room. For breakfast everything you
would expect is available, full English, continental or vegetarian breakfasts.
Your host is also able to help with special requests if needed. |
