The local train station, Hither Green, which is in travel zone 3, is a 5 minute walk away. The B&B is close to the wonderful typically English village of Blackheath with its wealth of eateries and fine dining surrounded by large open heathland. It is also close to the historic village of Greenwich - where time begins. The home is only a 35 minute journey from Oxford Street in central London. For those arriving by air Heathrow airport is a an hour and 20 minutes by public transport, Gatwick airport is 50 minutes away and Stansted airport is around a hour and 25 minutes by public transport. For those in London on business the home is also only a short distance from Lewisham DLR station giving access to Excel in Docklands in around 40 minutes.
