Elena’s B&B is situated in Blackheath Village which is a great location for easy access to all of the London tourist centres. Her home is in the beautiful, peaceful, yet trendy Blackheath Village with a 5-minute walk to the station.  There are regular buses to central Greenwich (and hence the tube system) from Blackheath every 10 minutes or so until around midnight. It's also very easy to get to "The O2" (www.theo2.co.uk) entertainment district too, with its famous concert arena (previously the Millennium Dome), as it is only about 1.5 miles away. There is a direct bus (every 10 minutes) from right outside the B&B to O2 arena. The bed and breakfast is situated 200 yards from Blackheath train the station, which transports you to central London in 18 minutes! There is also a direct train line link from Victoria train station to Blackheath. The Village itself is a lovely mixture of bijou shops, restaurants, coffeehouses and pubs. On the edge of the village is the heath, a large expanse of green, which leads into Greenwich Park with the Royal Observatory and National Maritime Museum. A walk through the Park and you're in Greenwich with its many tourist attractions including riverboat cruises and art & craft markets. From central Greenwich there are also DLR connections to the tube system and central London too. The nearest DLR station is Lewisham DLR, which is a 12-15 minute walk, or a bus for about 3 stops. Please note Elena does not take unaccompanied males guests, sorry.

Although it’s very much part of London, Blackheath has a village feel, with a mixture of boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. The Main attractions of Blackheath and Greenwich are :

The room that Elena makes available is situated on the ground floor looking out on the tree filled square. Opposite the room is the private shower room, so guest facilities are away from the main part of the home. As breakfast is not provided guests have a very independent stay, coming and going as they wish.  The room facilities are excellent with tea/coffee provided, a small fridge and a microwave.  Some guests bring in breakfast from the local shop, whilst others enjoy having it in one of the lovely cafes. There is also wifi broadband internet if you have you laptop PC with you.
