Welcome to a delightful Victorian town house in the historic coastal town of Portsmouth.

Originally a Gentleman's Residence built in 1879, this has been carefully renovated and is now a fine Bed and Breakfast, with all modern facilities but retaining many of the original features.

Location - Centrally located, 5 minutes by car, or taxi, to Continental and Isle of Wight Ferryports, Historic Ships, University, Guildhall/City Centre, Train/Coach Stations, Gunwharf Quay, and all the Tourist Attractions that Portsmouth, and its Seaside resort of Southsea has to offer.

HMS Victory, the Mary Rose, HMS Warrior and the Naval Museums are situated in the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Gunwharf Quays, the Boardwalk Waterfront, boasting many designer outlet shops, restaurants, bars and a 14 screen multiplex cinema. The D-Day Museum, Southsea Castle, Sea-Life Centre and the Royal Marines Museum are just some of the places to visit along Southsea Sea Front. Charles Dickens Birthplace, City Museums, Portsmouth Cathedral and numerous Churches are at various points around the city. The main shopping centres are within easy walking distance or 5 minutes by buses, which run to all parts of the city from nearby.

All of the above are under 5 minutes by car from the bed and breakfast.

We are an excellent touring base for Southern England, being on the main routes for places such as London, Winchester, Southampton, Stonehenge, New Forest, Bath, Brighton and Chichester etc. Trains to London are an easy option for a day visit, as there are 3 fast trains each hour, which take just 90 minutes should you choose to come for a day, a week or longer we will ensure a warm welcome and a pleasant stay at this wonderfull bed and breakfast.
