Caroline extends you the warmest of welcomes to her central London home. With a maximum of only two guests for Bed and Breakfast at any one time you are assured of our personal attention. We have a light bright patio apartment (just a few short steps down) in a large stucco fronted Victorian house probably built by Thomas Cubitt around 1830 (just a couple of doors from Winston Churchills home).

Whether you are visiting London's many attractions, or are here on business, we are superbly located. We are in an upmarket area of Victoria in one of the prettiest garden squares in London. Belgravia - with the worlds best chocolate shop - (probably) is a two minute walk, Chelsea, Kings Rd, Sloane St and Sloane Sq approx. 15 mins walk or a 5 minute taxi to Harrods. Local attractions (with approx. walking time) include: Buckingham Palace 10 mins, St James' Park and Green Park- 7 mins, Westminster Abbey and Cathedral, Big Ben, London Eye, River Thames with river cruises , Downing St all within 10 -15 mins. Two Theatres with top west end shows -5 mins. In addition are Tate Britain, Hyde Park Corner, many fashionable restaurants, shops and colourful street markets, pubs and wine bars, cinemas, gymnasiums in nearby streets.

For guests that have a car there is on street parking in square outside the B&B from 6pm - 8am free of charge (if available) and meter parking is available for the day at a cost of about £3 per hour. There is also there is a public car park around 2 minutes walk from the home which costs around £14 for six hours £20 for nine hours.

Guests own large sitting room with tea and coffee making facilities. A separate entrance to the guest accommodation makes this more like a one bedroom flat. Guests are able to use the stunning private gardens by arrangement, a tranquil garden around three acres with bbq area and tennis courts, a huge variety of plants - this is a true oasis.

Breakfast

A generous and varied continental breakfast is included, a typical breakfast includes: mixed rolls/breads/muffins/ croissants, toast, home made jams, cheeses, tomatoes, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, hot beverages and orange juice. Breakfast is taken in the guest lounge overlooking the pretty flowered patio. A traditional English breakfast can be supplied at a supplement and must be ordered the day before. We buy our food fresh daily. All taxes are included.

Extra Information

Staying with a private family can ensure you get a personal friendly reception; we value our guests and do our utmost to make them feel at home. We are able to supply any information you may need on local shows, attractions etc - if we don't know we find out! We also respect our guest's privacy and separate entrances allow you to come and go as you please. Michael works at Buckingham Palace and is able to arrange tickets for various exhibitions if required. We speak English and Polish with a few words of Russian and French, our welcome is international!

Transport

Victoria station and underground ( + taxi rank) is a four minute walk from the flat. It has fast transport to Heathrow -45 mins, Gatwick 35 mins and connections to just about everywhere in the country. Victoria Coach station with buses to Stansted airport and day trips all over the country is a two minute walk.

Eurostar and Waterloo international approx. 10 -15 mins.

We regret we are unable to accommodate children. We do not have pets and for our guests comfort we are a non smoking household.
