This family run B&B is situated in the vibrant Muswell Hill area of North London which is one of the London hills overlooking central London. On top of the hill is Alexandra Palace from where the world's first television pictures were broadcast in 1936. Muswell Hill is a pleasant and green part of London and the Edwardian period home is a few minutes walk from the Broadway with its many continental restaurants and bars. Although Muswell Hill has a village-like quality, getting into central London is very easy, from their local tube station central London is a mere 20 minute ride. The home is a short walk away from Alexandra Palace and Park which has a newly refurbished ice rink, a boating lake, animal enclosures and playgrounds. There is also an exhibition hall which hosts various fairs, exhibitions and occasional concerts. A parkland walk from Alexandra Palace will take you to Highgate Woods, a beautiful, peaceful ancient woodland. If you want bustle and excitement you can catch a bus to nearby Camden Market, one of the most popular visitors sites in London, the same double-decker bus will take you on into central London - great for sight-seeing.
The nearest tube stations are Highgate (on the Northern line) and Bounds Green (on the Piccadilly line) which has direct connections to and from Heathrow Airport. They are also on the right side of London for Luton and Stansted Airports. Your hosts can arrange pick ups from all London Airports with trustworthy drivers if required (at extra cost) and your hosts can also collect you personally from local tube stations when you arrive.

HIGHGATE - Northern Line, direct trains from Waterloo and St Pancras stations (for Eurotunnel)
BOUNDS GREEN - Piccadilly Line-Direct trains to and from Heathrow Airport.
FINSBURY PARK - Victoria and Piccadilly Lines-Victoria Line links to trains to and from Stansted and Gatwick Airports.
Being such a large city London has a good but complicated transport system. If this is your first visit to London we recommend you contact the owners once you have booked so that they can advise you on the best and cheapest way to travel into London from the airports and train stations and arrange pick ups if necessary.
When travelling by public transport in London it is recommend you buy an Oyster card. These are available in most newsagents and at all tube stations. It is the cheapest way to travel around London. Your hosts also have Oyster cards available if needed.
They offer a stylish double room with a king size bed and a single / twin room. Both rooms have flat screen LCD televisions and WI FI. You can book the double room on its own with exclusive use of the bathroom or book both rooms and share the bathroom. Perfect for a family of 3 or 4 people. There is also free parking on the street for guest with cars (no restrictions).
The single room has a pull out bed to make it into a twin room. Both rooms are on the first floor. They have a comfortable breakfast room on the ground floor where they serve a continental or vegetarian breakfast. You can make your own tea or coffee in the breakfast room at any time. A mini fridge is available for you to keep drinks etc cool.
A travel cot that fits into the double room is available and there is no extra charge for infants under two.
