The B&B cottage is a charming is 18th Century house nesting on the edge the Mendip Hills in a pretty village location half way between Bath & Wells. An ideal touring base to explore Bath and the beautiful Somerset countryside being just a short distance from Cheddar, Wookey, Longleat, Glastonbury, Stonehenge and the coast. They have ample parking, and there are two village Inns within very easy walking distance. The B&B is a 30 minute drive from the centre of Bath. There is also a bus (number 173) that runs every hour throughout the day from Bath to Wells and back. It does take an hour from Bath on the bus though as the route includes various other villages. The bus journey from Wells is about 15 mins. The bus stop is just a minute walk from the B&B.

The cottage has three guest rooms. All rooms have central heating, a colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Rooms are beautifully decorated in a country cottage style. A full English breakfast is served in a lovely dining room with a beautiful tiled Victorian fireplace. The cottage has ample off street parking and the 2 village inns serving excellent evening meals are within very easy walking distance.
The first room is a cosy double room with a king-size bed and exposed
ceiling beams complete with a large private Victorian style bathroom including
a power shower.
Rates for this room are £25
for single use and £50 for double use per night.
There is a family ensuite room with the original Georgian fireplace.
This room has a double bed and a single bed plus a fold up bed so it can
sleep four. The family room is also let as twin or double room.
Rates
for this room are £50 as a double or twin, £55 for a family of 3 or £60 for a family of 4.
And finally there is another ensuite room with that can a double or twin,
this room also has its original fireplace still in situ.
Rates for this room are £25 for single use or £50 as a double or
twin.
