This lovely B&B was originally part of an old Victorian boys school built in the early 1900's and has recently been renovated into this great Bed & Breakfast accommodation comprising of large and spacious ensuite rooms and a guest dinning room. Guests also have the use of the conservatory and patio. Some of the rooms have great views overlooking the via duct Bridge and woodland area.

The Dining room

The accommodation is just a ten minute walk from the town centre of St Austell. Your hostess, can also offer pickups from the train station at St Austell if you are coming in by public transport. The B&B is and central to Cornwall and there are many attractions nearby. For instance the bed and breakfast is approximately 4 miles to The Eden Project, 5 miles to Lost gardens of Heligan plus there are great beaches nearby like Charlestown with it's tall ships being the closest, then Carlyon Bay and Par. To Further your horizon you can find Bodmin Moor with it's lovely views and great picnic areas plus, they are only twenty minutes from Fowey, Mevigissey and thirty minutes from Truro and Falmouth.


Accommodation at Arches

Nikki, your host, offers a choice of three rooms all shown below. There are two doubles and a twin and they are all well sized rooms. The Red room is a small double with a private adjacent bathroom & wc, the Blue room is a large double with an ensuite shower & wc and the third room is the Green room, a large four poster also with an ensuite shower & wc. The home is non smoking but guest may use the conservatory to smoke if needed. Dogs may also be accepted by arrangement with the owners.

A choice of Cereals, Grapefruit, Toast and Orange Juice

Followed by a cooked breakfast: Egg, Bacon, Sausage, Black or Hoggs Pudding, Fried Bread, Hash Browns, Mushrooms, Fried Tomatoe and, Baked Beans

In addition to the B&B Net cancellation policy and in the event of cancellation or "non-appearance" at this particular B&B, following tourist Board guidelines, their policy is "In the event of cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival, we will make every effort to resell the accommodation booked.
However you may be charged in full unless we are able to resell your room. We strongly advise all potential guests to take out Travel Insurance to cover this eventuality as all accommodation booked must be paid for no matter what the circumstances are."
